In Preeti Raja’s work, the key elements are the surface and the subject, threaded by time and space. She is constantly looking for subjects that have the potential to inspire an indefinite narrative. The way in which she endeavours to portray this narrative is to incorporate drawings that are layered with objects from the past and the present, and have metamorphosed along their journey.
