Nagesh Goud uses a combination of flat paint application and intricate pen work renditions of stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. His colourful imagery is built, fragmented and rebuilt to form a pleasurable frontal assault on the senses. He uses a central character with large deep penetrative eyes to fill the canvas. A master colourist, Nagesh Goud sometimes uses metallic acrylic colours in a very clever manner. The narrative from the epics forms a web-like patterning that occupy select negative spaces drawing the viewer inwards akin to a theatre performance. This artwork will be shipped rolled with Crimson’s certificate of authenticity.
